Thea 2: The Shattering Guide for beginners part two, characters, their characteristics, attacks and skills

Greetings, gentlemen, the continuation of the wonderful game Thea: The AwakeNing is already in the early access of Steam. The new part has become easier and friendly to the players, but it can still be difficult for beginners to understand its aspects, for this I begin to record a series of guides. Any confrontations in the game occur in the form of a sort of card solitaire, in which you use the maps of your characters either for direct participation, or for some influence, such as the strengthening of the allies, the weakening of opponents, or the call for various creatures.
Confrontations in the game are divided into 3 types:
Reds are either direct battles, or everything related to physical efforts, like raking up rubble.
Yellow – these are negotiations, bargaining, intimidation, as well as diverse mental efforts, such as solving logical problems.
Violets are the conduct of rituals, communication with divine entities or magical duels.

First we turn to the characteristics of the characters.

The characteristics are very conveniently divided by flowers according to the confrontations in which they most often participate. We will quickly go through each, in more detail about the influence of characteristics in the confrontations will talk later.
Red characteristics – strength and attentiveness are most often used in red, physical confrontations.
Strength increases the maximum weight of the character’s equipment, in addition, increases the damage of near -battle weapons. The pitching with the hand is indicated.
Attentiveness increases the speed of collecting resources and luck, in addition, increases damage to long -range weapons. Denoted by an eye.
Yellow characteristics, intelligence and wisdom are most often used in yellow, mental confrontations.
Intelligence indicated by the book affects the speed of research and production, wisdom indicated by the owl, affects the collection of resources, and production, and rituals, and good luck.
Violet characteristics are most often used in purple, magical confrontations, but more often than others are used through skills and equipment and in other tests.
Mysticism, indicated by an angular flower, enhances the ability to rituals and research, fate affects everything, and so it and fate. It is indicated by a comet. It is a pity, not a two -foot.
The basic value of the characteristics depends on the class class and some reliable equipment increases when obtaining levels.

Now let’s take a look at the strips from above.

Red strip is health, you can lose it in red confrontations – battles. With low, or even more negative values, the character may die.
Yellow strip – sanity. It is used in the same way as health in yellow confrontations – negotiations. With its low and negative meanings, the character can leave the group that, according to the player is equal to death, it is no longer possible to return the departed character.
The violet strip is faith, it is also used as health, but in purple confrontations, rituals and magic duels. At low and negative values, the character can also get away from you.
Health, sanity and faith are restored quite slowly while relaxing in the camp between the strokes if you have enough food and fuel for the fire. In addition, they can be restored for resources in the settlements of the Allies, or during some random events.
These characteristics depend on several indicators:

From the value of your attributes, for example, health increases by one unit for each unit of strength of the character, and by half the value of the character’s attentiveness.
Some skills give an increase, for example, a character with a “fortress” receives a bonus to a maximum of health and faith.
Also, these strips are affected by moral modifiers, which are mainly obtained for the variety of food, blessings and curses that you can get during the passage of random events.

To the right of each of the stripes you see a shield of the same color. This, conditionally, is the armor of your character in the appropriate confrontations. Shields, in most cases, are the first to take damage and health, common sense and faith begin to suffer only after they reach zero. Shields, completely restored immediately after the completion of the confrontation.
Keep in mind that the shields of each color work only in the tests of the corresponding color. The warrior can be dressed in strong armor, but this is unlikely to help him if you need to solve the puzzle.
The shields consist of from the character and skills worn on a character. A small increase is given by high morality.

Most of the armor and shield and amulets give, two -handed swords give a modifier.
Please note that ordinary armor and shield give shields only to health and work only in red tests, while elemental, although they have a lower indicator, but it is added to all protection at once. Your opponents will be surprised when their slaughter arguments will be bounced from lat. Although, perhaps, this is just a good sound insulation of the helmet.
To understand what shields a bonus will give this or that thing, you can on its passive effects. If the image of the shield of the same color, then the thing gives the specified bonus to this protection, if the shield pattern is divided into three parts, each of its color, then the indicated bonus will be added to all protection.

From the adoption of enemy attacks we will move to the methods of these very enemies to eliminate. All characters in skills have a rough attack with a fist pattern. It is available to everyone and always, so on its basis we will consider the general rules of attacks.

Pay attention to three cards in the lower left corner. They indicate in the tests of what colors this skill can be applied. In the case of a rough attack, you see all three colors, then it can be used in all types of tests, while an arms attack can be used only in red tests, which 3 red cards are reported to us.
A little to the right of the picture you see a picture of characteristics that can be changed, as in the case of a rough attack, where force is used in red tests, intelligence in yellow, and mysticism in purple.
Another case, magic wand. Judging by the color of the cards, it is used in yellow and purple tests, however, in both cases, the characteristic of fate is used.

But back to a rough attack. To the right and below the characteristics icon we see a cherry that means that the attack causes ordinary damage. Instead of a bar of different types of weapons or skills, there may be a different type of damage, such as poisonous attacks indicated by a green drop, apply more damage if the health is less than the maximum.
Followed by two numbers. The first number is a modifier to your characteristic. 0.9 means that 90% of the indicated characteristic of the character becomes damage, which will apply such an attack.

For example, in Goblin-Shaman, mysticism is 11.4 units, which means a gross attack with a 0.9 modifier in a purple test will apply, rounding 10 damage. This number is written in brackets. At the same time, the shaman’s power is only 3 units, and its gross attack in red test will apply, rounding, only 3 damage.

With weapons, magic sticks and other things are calculated in the same way. The mighty warrior of Barbara with 7 force and the modifier in his sword will apply 8 damage in one attack. While the usual gross attack is only 6.

Some weapons and equipment can calculate the damage differently. Pay attention to the amber club in the hands of Emilia. After the skull, you see plus 6.3, this means that the damage from such weapons consists of the base value, in this case 6.3, plus only 20% of the value of the characteristic, which, with 7 strength, ultimately gives us a damage to 7.7 units. Such a weapon is useful if you need to put someone in the first row, and he has little strength, even a child with an unreadable name will apply such a club 6.7 damage.

But we go to the right. Here we see 4 squares, of which two are the upper white, and the two lower are cut off. This means that with such an attack of the character you can only put in the first row of two possible. The magic wand, as you can see, is, on the contrary, the upper squares are discharged here, which means that you can only put with such an attack in the second row. If all the squares are white, then there is no restriction on a row.

To the right of the right you see the icon in the form of a sword. The area of ​​hit the attack is indicated here. If a diagonal sword is depicted there, then the attack will fall for the next purpose
If the hammer, then the damage will be completely caused to the closest enemy, and half of this damage will be applied to the cells on the right, left and back from it. This type of attack occurs, as a rule, in crushing weapons in battle or at relics and artifacts in other confrontations.
The image of the bow means that the attack will fall primarily on the enemy in the front row, and if there is no one there, then by any other closest. Such an attack, usually in throwing copies or magic sticks.
The red circle means that the attack will fall over all enemies on the battlefield. Usually found in skills.
The vertical sword with a semicircle from above will damage the closest enemy and two cells to the right and left of the first purpose. Such an attack, as a rule, in two -handed swords and abilities.
The spear attacks the nearest enemy, as well as the cage right behind him. In addition, when putting on the battlefield, the card will immediately apply an attack, registered just below the enemy right in front of it in the first or second row. It usually meets, don’t believe it, copies.
The target means that the player will be able to choose any enemy on the battlefield as a goal. So bows and crossbows usually attack.
A cube with 1-5 points indicates that the attack will hit random enemies in an amount indicated on a cube. Usually, scrolls and books have such attacks.
The white square of small squares and the cross inside meant that the attack will cover everyone in general, and his own and strangers. All, except the attacker. It is found in skills.

We made out the types of attacks, now we turn to an equally important aspect, to the delay indicated by the picture of the watch.

This parameter shows how soon after the start of the battle such an attack will be committed. The smaller this parameter, the earlier the attack will pass.
Each weapon has a basic delay. For a rough attack, this is 6.5, the ax 3. Then we pay attention to the delay indicator of the character himself, which is in his characteristics.

The final delay is written in brackets and consists of delayed weapons or skills, plus a character delay. As we see, the final delay of the attack with an ax 3+2.8 = 5.8.
The delay of the character depends on the parameter of the mind indicated by the gears. The more mind, the less delay.
We examined the attacks that work if you put the character on the battlefield. However, there is an opportunity to influence the battle and because of its limits.
For example, a cub named Yuzka, despite the young age, is already able to yell orders because of the battlefield.

As you see, instead of indicating where you can put the character on the battlefield, an exclamation mark with stars is drawn. This means that the effect of this skill works immediately, and not during the battle. The scream of the Yuka, for example, increases any protection by 3 units to one of their fighters. What is shown, the green color of the target is shown.
In addition to strengthening the protection of their own, such abilities can reduce protection among enemies, weaken or slow down their attacks, accelerate their own and call on additional creatures on the battlefield.
